The Dress

My first project at Scandinavian Academy of Fashion Design was inspired by the 1940s. Especially ‘La Chaise’ by Charles and Ray Eames caught my attention. I was fascinated by the contrast between the stiff material and the soft shapes. I then began to do collages with the chair and ended up with a mix between ‘La Chaise’ and a dress from Christian Dior’s ‘New Look’ collection.
