The Casual Couture

In this project I wanted to work with contrasts. The contrast between the casual and the formal. Therefore I worked with oversize silhouettes inspired by the casual and couture hand embroidery inspired by the formal. I created the jacket out of dead-stock silk and cotton fabric and the shirt out of dead-stock silk and cashmere fabric. Both items are carefully hand embroidered with glass beads.
